Animoto and Schwup, part I

I just finished reading through several faculty blogs about animoto v. schwup. Since I'm in the middle of uploading vacation pictures, something I'm NOTORIOUSLY delinquent about doing (just ask the grandmothers), I figured this might be a great option to combine the pictures from lots of cameras and phones. I was disapointed, however, to learn that the videos on Animoto can only be 30 seconds long. I immediately zipped back to TECHsplorations to see if Shwup could make longer videos, but it doesn't seem to. So while I'm excited to come back and fool around with the sites, I'm not quite as motivated because I'm not sure how efficient this will actually make my photo uploading. If any of you are like me, I can never get through uploading and sharing because I'm always trying to make pictures the right size, color, etc. It just takes a lot more time than I'm willing to devote on most days.
